Valberedare har till uppgift att förse årsstämman med förslag på styrelsefunktionärer som behöver tillsättas. Det är därför lämpligt att valberedaren har ett hyggligt stort kontaktnät bland medlemmarna.
Årsmötet utser dels två personer till en valberedning till SHF:s styrelse, dels en ordinarie ledamot i SVENSKA FLYGSPORTFÖRBUNDETS valberedning.
Ledarmoten i SFS:s valberedning kan vara samma person som en av SHF:s valberedare men måste inte vara så. Däremot är det lämpligt att de kommunicerar med varandra.

Arbetsgång:
*Läs i föregående årsstämmeprotokoll vilka styrelseposter som ska väljas.
*Fråga de avgående funktionärerna om de kan tänka sig omval till posterna.
*Leta upp nya kandidater.
*Skicka förslag på kandidater till klubbarna anslutna till SHF i god tid och senast två veckor innan stämman.

Tänk på:
*Försök att ge förslag som ger SHF:s styrelse en geografisk spridning.
*Finns det andra inkomna förslag så ska de också redovisas.

Enligt SHF:s stadgar gäller:
*Valberedningen består av två ledamöter, varav den ene utses att vara sammankallande.
*Valberedningen upprättar förslag till kandidater för vart och ett av valen . . . .
*Valberedningen har rätt att framlägga egna förslag.
*Valbar . . . är varje i Sverige permanent bosatt person som är medlem i förening som är ansluten till SHF.

* medela den nya ordförandes kontaktuppgifter till FSF. Detta framgår visserligen av det materialet som ska skickas till FSF efter ett årsmöte, men det är bra om kontaktuppgifterna skickas direkt. Det brukar ta tid innan protokollet är skrivet och signerat.
* uppdatera SHFs kontaktinfo hos räddningscentralen (Räddningscenter Cefyl i Göteborg). Idag vet jag inte hur, men jag ska försöka komma ihåg att fråga nästa gång de ringer.
